El cuerpo del brasileño Cleiton Eugenio Vaz da Silva, fue encontrado descuartizado en el Lago de Itaipú en Hernandarias. La Policía Civil de Foz informó que detuvo al homicida y el motivo fue pasional. Cleiton estaba teniendo una relación con la esposa de su amigo que le mató y le corto en pedazos. No se dio el nombre de los involucrados.
El horrendo homicidio sucedió en un club náuticos a orillas del embalse de la Itaipú, en el lado brasileño, de acuerdo a lo informado por la Policía Civil. Anunciaron que ya el pasado lunes detuvieron al homicida, quien era amigo de la víctima.
En conferencia de prensa, el martes (22), la jefa de la Policía Civil, Iane Cardoso do Nascimento, dijo que el crimen contra Cleiton Eugênio Vaz da Silva, de 33 años, quien fue encontrado muerto y desmembrado en el lago de Itaipú, puede haber sido motivado por traición (pasional).
«De acuerdo con lo que encontramos, identificamos que la víctima había tenido una relación con la esposa del investigado durante su matrimonio y que esa fue la razón por la que la relación terminó y que actualmente vivía con la víctima», dijo la delega.
El sospechoso que mencionó es un hombre de 40 años, presunto autor del crimen, que fue detenido el lunes (21). Según la policía, Cleiton y él eran amigos.
Cleiton desapareció el 9 de octubre y fue encontrado cinco días después, el 14 de octubre, por las autoridades paraguayas. Según la policía, su cuerpo estaba «mutilado y con una piedra atada a la cintura».
