Uno de los financistas de la campaña proselitista de Daniel “Dani” Mujica, a gobernador fue condenado a tres años de cárcel por estafa. Se trata de José Luis Velázquez Popov su hermano masón, quien es señalado como integrante de esquemas de lavado de dinero de narcos y contrabandistas de cigarrillos. Es dueño de Uniexpress casa cambiaria. La presentación oficial de la candidatura será mañana junto a la diputada Kattya González.
Fuentes cercana al propio Mujica señalaron que Velázquez Popov era uno de los que estaba aportando para la campaña del funcionario municipal al cargo de gobernador. El apoyo del ahora condenado a cárcel por estafador, fue durante una cena hace un par días.
El dueño de Uniexpress cambios, es sindicado por la Policía Federal del Brasil de ser parte de esquemas de lavado de dinero de narcotraficantes, algunos de ellos de grueso calibre como Cabeza Branca, y de contrabandistas de cigarrillo.
Hace tres semanas el local de Uniexpress cambios en Pedro Juan Caballero fue intervenida a pedido de las autoridades brasileña en el marco de una operación que desmantelo el complejo esquema de lavado de dinero de Cabeza Branca.
No es ninguna joda. Este personaje del submundo de la delincuencia fronteriza, aparece como financista de la campaña de Mujica, quien se presenta como el diferente.
Mujica con la presencia de la diputada Kattya González, lanzará oficialmente su candidatura el sábado 19.
